iRadio is not dead yet – Apple said to have reached a deal with Warner Music

Apple has long been thought to be working on its own streaming music service and the rumours about Apple making a competitor to the likes of Spotify, Pandora or even Google just won’t die.

The newest rumours, being reported by both CNET and The New York Times, claim that Apple has just added another music label to their stable. A deal with Warner Music was apparently reached this past weekend, though the terms of the apparent deal have not been disclosed. If true this would make Warner the second music label to partner with Apple.

Neither Warner Music nor Apple would confirm whether an agreement took placed when questioned but Sony Music Entertainment seems to be the only hold-out for Cupertino at this point. It has been speculated that Apple will have more to say about the possible ‘iRadio’ service at the WWDC conference in San Francisco on 10 June.
