FNB to offer customers Google’s Nexus 7 tablet

Following up the changes to their Banking App yesterday, First National Bank has announced that they will be offering new and current FNB Personal Cheque Account clients Google’s Nexus 7 tablet.

FNB’s Nexus 7 offer is a little cheaper than their ‘new’ iPad promotion last year, coming in at R169 a month, and goes hand-in-hand with a data offer that will see qualifying account holders getting up to 3GB of data a month (just how this works isn’t specified). Additionally, FNB Connect gives their clients free access to YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Pintrest between 7PM and 11PM daily.

Head of FNB Connect ISP and Business Operations Farren Roper said in a press release “This tablet offer together with our FNB Banking App and free data is part of a unique offer from FNB. The FNB Banking App was developed in house and the data is also provided by our own internal ISP.”

FNB customers and those who want to become one can either visit FNB’s website to snag a Nexus 7 or SMS ‘FNB’ to 32812.
