Local RRPs for 13″ Retina MacBook Pro, Mac Mini announced, availability coming soon

South African Apple distributors Core have outed the recommended retail prices that locals can expect to pay for the new 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display and Mac Mini variants, which were announced at the same time as the iPad Mini last month.

The Core i5 2.5GHz-wielding 13″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage, will cost Apple fans R18,699 while increasing the flash storage to 256GB will see the price upped to R21,699.

There will be three types of Mac Mini available, all of which will feature a Core i7 2.5GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM and an Intel HD 4000 graphics solution. The first two differ in the storage stakes and Core has an RRP of R6,299 for the 500GB hard drive version and R8,499 for the 1TB option. The Mac Mini Server will ship with a 1TB hard drive and a price of R10,499.

Actual availability of the devices isn’t concrete yet but this information will apparently be announced soon.
