Asus’s ROG Elite Rewards program wants you to earn points and win prizes doing online tasks

asus

Asus is bringing its ROG Elite Rewards programme to South Africa, and it’s interesting. It works similarly to regular rewards programmes, making subscribers eligible to win prizes via points earned through various online and offline tasks. There are a few wrinkles.

Rewarding Asus

There is a variety of ways in which hopefuls can start earning points. Keen users begin by accessing their Asus accounts or creating a new one and opting into the programme. This forms the basis of the whole deal but it’s only the first step.

Fans earn points by purchasing ROG merch and attending the company’s booths at conventions and expos. To earn points online, users must participate in the company’s social media initiatives and complete online surveys. We all know how much fun those are, right?

If that appeals to you, Asus also has a bridge to sell you. On its Twitch and YouTube channels, it will stream gameplay, product news, how-to guides, and more. Every stream will feature a special code to use to earn points. If you’ve always felt like live streams weren’t a big enough part of your life, this is a great opportunity to correct this.

Finally, the programme has three tiers to reward different levels of engagement. All participants start at the Explorer Tier, which makes users eligible to win games, exclusive digital content, and more. The Professional tier gives users more ways to redeem points while gaming. The Elite tier gives users everything in the Explorer and Professional tiers, and (brace yourselves for this one) an Elite Tier badge on the site.

Last is the invite-only Super Elite tier. This tier encompasses all other tiers while giving members access to what Asus calls “exclusive sweepstakes opportunities,” making users eligible to win “the absolute greatest prizes the ROG Elite Rewards programme has to offer.” What its “greatest” prizes entail, Asus didn’t specify.
