Nuketown is now available in Black Ops 4 multiplayer for PlayStation 4

Nuketown is back! And this time it’s based in… Russia?

Activision released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 earlier this week, revealing that fan-favourite map Nuketown would be heading back to the series, this time in a setting more suited to warfare. Have a look at the trailer below.

The map is already available for download (on PlayStation 4), and features a lot of snow, a welcome addition to the previous clean-cut futuristic scenes from Black Ops 3. The change in weather this time around is because players are being dropped into the icy Russian winter and pitted against each other. You know how Nuketown rolls by now.

PlayStation 4 players are the first to get their hands on the map, as it’ll only release on Xbox One and PC later — Activision’s early content deal with Sony is really paying off for PS4 players.

The best part? The map will be free to everyone who owns the game. Activision is on a free-content rampage and will introduce a new specialist character next month too.

So make your way to your console and check for an update if you haven’t yet. The PS4 map dropped yesterday, on 13 November. Other platforms have to wait another week to download the map.
