If you (somehow) missed The Witcher 3 the first time around, this should tempt you

YouTube player

Honestly, if you haven’t played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt yet then you should be kicking yourself. CD Project, in their launch trailer for the Game of the Year Edition, isn’t punting all those awards for no good reason. They earned every damned one of them.

But we get it. Perhaps you don’t have time for more than 200 hours of story-driven gameplay that makes Game of Thrones look sedate. Perhaps the prospect of tangling with ghosts and mirrors in the included Hearts of Stone campaign or getting drunk on excellent wine in the presence of vampires in Blood and Wine doesn’t sound like a thing you’d be in to. But there’s only one way to find out for sure and that’s to watch The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition‘s launch trailer, which somehow manages to take an experience that can run into 300 hours and compress it down into less than two minutes.

If you run into an age-gate, that would be because of the video’s content. There’s a bucketload of blood to be had but also a smattering of swearing and at least a little implied nudity to get past — so watch yourself if you’re in an office setting. If you’re after the full scenery, you’re going to have to get your hands on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition… which launches today. Don’t make the same mistake a second time. Go get your copy now. We’ll wait till you get back.
