Rugby Challenge 3 gets a fresh trailer ahead of April launch

YouTube player

We already know that what could be the best rugby game we’ve seen in years is arriving later this month, on 22 April. What we hadn’t seen is how the gameplay itself looks. A few (very attractive) screenshots but no gameplay. That changes now.

Developer TruBlu have released a trailer for Rugby Challenge 3, showing off snippets of every bit of on-field action players can expect on launch date. From the lineouts to the scrum to conversions, and everything in between, the short presentation gives us some idea of how smooth gameplay and animation in RC3 is going to be.

What we found amusing is the prominent disclaimer that online play will change player experience. We know they’re covering their bases but we also know what some of the online play experiences will be like. We’re still going to therapy for the last few times we entered an unmuted game lobby during peak playing times. Still, rugby. Bring it, April.
