You know that you want one of these Star Wars AT-AT models. We all do. But more than that, you want to control it using an Xbox 360 controller because the only thing better than a model is a working model.
If you’re not too busy standing in line for the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens then take the 30 seconds or so the video above needs to completely tear a gaping hole in your life that can only be filled by your very own Aduino Uno-powered AT-AT walker. The creation of Dave Stein, this project turns an old toy into something altogether more magical.
And if you’re a proper fanboy then you can build your own, as long as your eBay skills are good enough to net you an 80s-era AT-AT toy as well as the requisite parts. The project’s website lists everything that you’ll need and there are build tutorials coming soon. So you might just be able to fill that fresh void, but only if you grab your AT-AT soon – we suspect they’re about to be in very short supply.
