The day has arrived and we’ve got our first proper look at the upcoming Terminator reboot, Terminator: Genisys. We’ve had to approach the film’s reveal with some trepidation, as there are a few people on Stuff‘s roster who believe that the series started with the first film and ended with the second. Who violently believe.
And if that’s the case, why are we so excited about the badly-named reboot? The directors look to have made an attempt to integrate the first two films into this one, which alters the timeline completely, and they’ve come up with a fairly badass Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the Terminators that will be terrorising the present day.

There’s going to be a massive amount of action, if this footage is any indication. We were expecting Sarah Connor to start yelling about dragons for a brief moment but, so far, it works. There’s still a chance that Genisys will wind up being bad but at this point, we’ll be watching it anyway.
Look for a theatrical release of Terminator: Genisys after the middle of next year.
