Finally! An alarm clock that wakes you up with coffee

Our dream technology consists of anything that does one thing and also makes coffee. Like a smartphone that makes coffee, a tablet that knows how to start brewing some morning juice, anything along those lines. Though it’s mostly a joke on our part, someone has come up with a working option for an alarm clock that wakes you up with a morning cup of joe.

That’s a GOOD morning

Called the Barisieur, this alarm clock wakes you up using the movement of ball-bearings to create noise. The nice part is that these ball-bearings help to boil the water for your morning coffee, using induction heading. Plus, it looks like you’re Walter White while prepping your caffeine fix the evening before.

What will it set you back? Around £150 to £250 (R2700 to R4500), according to this fantastic alarm clock’s creators. Unfortunately you’ll have a bit of a wait before you can get your hands on one, it’s going to take some time before it hits retail outlets.
