If you don’t know yet, we’re delighted to tell you it’s time for E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo), which means loads of (hopefully) great games should be headed our way in the future.

One reveal by rather (in)famous game publisher EA, has us rather excited. The publisher announced the latest instalment of Mass Effect, one of its most popular games yesterday at their gaming media briefing.

Unfortunately details are very scarce at time of writing. All we know is that the Bioware Montreal will be in charge of developing the game, and that only a few “conceptual prototype images” were released at E3. No release dates have been given, but be sure to watch the video to whet your appetite.

Also on EA’s list of reveals was the next instalment of Mirror’s Edge, the fist person parkour game that quickly earned a cult following after it’s release. Again, no specifics or release dates were given other than a couple of images, which you can also check out on the vid, and that you can expect to see the title released for your Xbox One or Playstation 4.

Other good news for fans of Bioware games is that EA also announced that the original Bioware studio, Bioware Edmonton, is currently busy creating a shiny new property. As with Mass Effect, no word out on what exactly is going on, but we do feel like a kid just before Christmas.

As always, we’ll keep you updated if we get wind of any new developments.
