Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive have released a new trailer for the upcoming title based around the Lord of the Rings universe, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The trailer also details the launch date for the game as well as the pre-order bonus that is available to prospective players.
Shadow of Mordor will be releasing across all of the major platforms (PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One) from 7 October this year. Unfortunately the Wii U won’t be seeing a launch of what looks to be a very exciting title. Pre-ordering the game will give players access to the Dark Ranger skin, a challenge mode and access to online leaderboards.
Players will be taking the role of Talion, a ranger who saw his entire family killed in front of him before having his life snuffed out. You can get an overview of the storyline coming up from the trailer, as well as catch a few brief snippets of gameplay right towards the end of the video.
