The previously handheld-only game based around elements of Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkam Origins Blackgate, has finally launched to the larger living room consoles. The game has released as a digital download only title on Steam, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The updated edition launched yesterday for PC and on Microsoft’s console, while it will be landing on Sony’s platform later today.
Still to come for Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition is a release on the Wii U. Nintendo’s console will be getting some love later this month, though the exact date has yet to be revealed.
According to Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the title has been upgraded with “…high-definition visuals, an all-new map system, new enemy encounters, difficulty levels, and batsuits.” These changes should make for a better looking and slightly different experience on the larger screen.
