At the very beginning of this month Stuff gave our web/magazine readers a chance to win one of two brand new HTC One smartphones. The final leg of August’s giveaway has come to an end, following a(nother) slew of last-minute entries.
Before the announcement, here is some detail on how the competition draw works. Winner’s names are drawn randomly by a computer which discards multiple instances of the same details so multiple entries don’t give entrants an unfair advantage. Once the name has been drawn, the entry is examined to see whether the question has been answered correctly and, if it hasn’t been, the draw is discarded and a new winner is drawn.
As you might have guessed from our Facebook page last time, we do love drawing out the suspense for things like this but Stuff is verging on cruel at the moment so here is the HTC One winner for 30 August.
