Vodacom have announced a new bolt-on addition to their pre-paid packages called My5. My5 is a new addition which is an evolution of Vodacom’s Power Hour promotion and will see pre-paid Vodacom users nominating five friends. Users will be able to call these friends for a combined total of up to 60 minutes, free of charge.
There are also additional plans which give users unlimited messages to any network as well as 20MB of data on Vodacom’s network. However, it seems that these packages are only valid until just prior to midnight on the day that they have been purchased. The bundles and pricing are as follows:

Users can add Vodacom contacts to their My5 packages by dialling *111*5# on the keypads on their phones and selecting the correct option. My5 bundles can be purchased using the same method.
