The results are in for Intel’s second quarter

Intel has reported its second quarter results for 2013, reporting $12.8 billion in revenues and $2 billion in net profit for Q2. Intel says that the figures were in line with their outlook for the period, though the company did suffer some losses in certain divisions.

Intel’s PC Client Group and Other Intel Architecture Group, responsible for desktop and mobile processors respectively, both saw losses. The PC Client Group had revenues fall by 7.5%, the Other Intel Architecture Group’s revenues dropped by 15%.

The declines that Intel has seen have not been explained but considering how PC sales in general have been declining over the last five quarters, the dip isn’t that surprising.
