Video games have a very specific convention when it comes to alien invasions. A lone hero, fighting against the odds, rampages through a near-deserted space station destroying any xenomorphs in his path. But that’s not the end of the story. Once the guts have dust has settled, someone needs to clean that mess up.
Game developer has answered the question of what needs to take place once humanity’s hero has saved the universe from alien threat with an unusual title called Viscera Cleanup Detail. Prospective players can take a shot at cleaning up the mess they have undoubtedly created during the course of Doom, Quake or a number of other games as the janitor assigned to clean up the hero’s mess. Or, if cleaning up bullet casings, blood and guts sounds a little boring, you can get a taste of what’s in store from the video above.
