Asus’ 31.5-inch PQ321 4k monitor up for pre-order

Just a month ago ASUS unveiled its 31.5-inch 4K monitor to the world. Now, the PQ321 is already available for pre-order on Amazon US, newegg and TigerDirect and should give a truly mind blowing view with its 3840×2160 pixel 10-bit RGB panel. That’s a billion colours folks.

It also has built-in speakers to sweeten the deal, with a 3.5mm audio jack, DisplayPort connectivity and dual HDMI inputs. It’s also supposedly the thinnest 4K monitor at the moment at 35mm thick.

But there is a price to pay for all the awesomeness that is the PQ321, and what a price it is. The introductory price of R34,820 is already R3000 cheaper than the original price announced last month, but luckily it will only be made available on the 16th of July, so there should be enough time to get that pyramid scheme going.

As of yet no local availability has been announced for the PQ321, but Stuff will keep you posted.
