Microsoft launches web-based Xbox Music, and it’s available now

Microsoft has launched a web-based version of its music player, called Xbox Music, today. The web player looks very similar to the recently redesigned Windows 8.1 Xbox Music App and is available at music.xbox.com.

What’s cool about it is that the web player can be shared and accessed across multiple machines, with music being streamed without restrictions.

Using the web player you can edit playlists, add new music to your collection from the cloud, and search effortlessly. Xbox Music syncs to Windows devices, Windows Phones, and the Xbox 360 so any changes you make to your playlist changes will be reflected elsewhere

If you are not an Xbox Music subscriber fret not, as Microsoft is offering up to 30 days of free access to new users.
