Google+ adds suggested content to mobile browsing

Google+ has outed a new tool for mobile website developers, which is implemented with the addition of a single line of javascript in a website, that offers suggested content to readers “based on the specific page the visitor is viewing, to boost the relevance of recommendations.”

The new addition is functional on both Android and iOS mobile devices and works whether a visitor is signed into their Google accounts or not. Being signed in shows content that has been ‘+1’d’, as Google puts it, in addition to suggesting content based on what they are reading at the time.

Google has released a demo video of the tool in action and seems to have partnered with Forbes to get the ball rolling so viewing articles on their mobile site should let you try the new feature out for yourself.
