Vodacom has confirmed the availability of Nokia’s newest Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 720, both at Vodacom World in Midrand in Johannesburg and “Vodacom participating outlets”.
Contract prices for the smartphone vary from a monthly payment of R349 for the most basic offering to a R1999 monthly installment that will give users unlimited calls and SMS, as well as 1.5GB of data monthly. All contracts that don’t fall under the RED banner will also be receiving an extra 250MB of data for the first two months. Of course there is also the pre-paid route, which should set you back somewhere between R5,400 and R5,700 depending on the retail outlet.
