Vodacom has announced today the launch of a new 2 cents per second pre-paid tariff.
The Anytime Per Second plan, when selected by pre-paid subscribers, applies to all calls across all networks and works out to a flat rate of R1.20 a minute for all calls. Those on the billing plan also qualify for Vodacom’s Night Shift promotion, which gives users who recharge with R12 or more an hour of free talk time daily between midnight and 5AM for a limited period.
The latest pre-paid price plan change from Vodacom, along with last month’s Free4Sho offer, is a further sign that the mobile service provider price wars are heating up. The Anytime Per Second offering matches MTN’s per-second One4All billing change made recently.
