Twitter adds another dozen languages to Twitter Archive

Twitter’s Archive tool, announced in the middle of last year and rolled out in December, has had an even dozen new supported languages added to the list of those who can export their tweets in a single archive.

Newly included are the Dutch, Polish, Spanish, Farsi, Hungarian, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Hebrew, Norwegian and Malay languages.

Twitter said in December last year that the rollout of Twitter Archive would occur over “the coming weeks and months.” The ‘months’ portion of that was obviously the more accurate bit of the statement but at least the functionality isn’t confined solely to English speakers now.

Users can select the Settings option and scroll down the list to the ‘Request your archive’ option, which will dispatch a download link to the user’s email address with everything they’ve ever tweeted.
