You have probably noticed that black border around the Stuff website today. Today is Black Friday, part of a rape awareness campaign in South Africa.
South Africa has one of the highest rates of rape in the world, with a woman being raped every four minutes. A rape every four years would still be too many.
The campaign, which seems to have its roots on Twitter, asks people to wear black today in order to show their support against rape in South Africa and the world over. Stuff’s website is wearing black today, the Stuff staff are doing the same. Are you?
