Apple has said in a filing last week that it will be withdrawing claims against Samsung’s Galaxy S III Mini in its ongoing legal battle with the South Korean company, following Samsung stating that the device will not be sold in the US market.
Apple added Samsung’s smaller S III to the list of infringing devices in the case, along with several other Samsung products, in November last year.
Samsung has since said that they will not be “…making, using, selling, offering to sell or importing the Galaxy S III Mini in the United States.” Reuters reports that Apple has dropped the Galaxy S III Mini from the suit on the condition that “…the current withdrawal will not prejudice Apple’s ability later to accuse the Galaxy S III Mini if the factual circumstances change.”
