A report by the Wall Street Journal profiling Apple senior vice president Eddy Cue has suggested that Apple’s new desktop version of iTunes is extremely close to launch, following a month-long delay.
The deadline Apple has given themselves means that iTunes 11 should release either today or tomorrow, according to an announcement from the company at the end of October this year, but whether they will actually release on time isn’t confirmed.
The rollout of iTunes 11 was delayed due to problems that required portions of the application to be rewritten, according to unnamed sources.
