Apple submits list of Samsung devices it wants banned to judge

Apple has submitted a list of Samsung devices that the company wants banned in the wake of the recent jury decision in its favour which will cost Samsung a little over $1 billion.

Cupertino for the moment wants eight Samsung products banned from sale in the US, including the Galaxy S II Epic 4G, Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S II T-Mobile, Galaxy S Showcase, S II AT&T, S II Skyrocket, Droid Charge and the best-selling Galaxy Prevail.

Apple has reportedly also requested that the preliminary injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 be made permanent, even through the jury in the case found that it hadn’t infringed the patent in question.

Apple has reserved the right to pursue injunctions against all 28 Samsung products named in the case, according to the Wall Street Journal. Samsung has vowed that it will fight the bans with “all necessary measures.”

The hearing for the bans is set for 20 September.
