Stuff South Africa

In This Issue – The Outdoors (June-July 2022) Issue

Once again, we are asking you to check out a new issue of Stuff Magazine. In the June-July 2022 issue, we’re doing something no sensible person should be thinking about right now. We’re heading outside. Which is fair enough. What with gas prices being what they are and electricity being kinda optional in South Africa, it’s about as cold inside our homes as it is outside. So why not make the most of it and go hiking, camping, or cycling? That’s the idea, anyway. Maybe, though… maybe just avoid the mountains while you’re doing these things. It is getting awfully cold.

If you’re one of those sensible folks who elect to remain indoors, even if it’s a tad chilly, then the June-July 2022 issue of Stuff has a few things for you too. Even better, you can block out most of the rest of the world as you huddle within your walls, using one (or more) of the wonderful headphones from our extensive feature. Which, yes, includes the sort of kit you would use in the gym. Just because you’re avoiding biting winds and possible snow doesn’t mean you have to sit on the couch for the next six months. You can if you wanna, but it’s kinda optional.

Perhaps you’re planning to leave the house, but only in short, energetic bursts. In that case, you’d best protect your feet. And your other bits, but a brisk 5km run will probably take care of them. Except your nose. That part is probably doing some running of its own. For the less disgusting sort of running, we’ve got a roundup of the footwear you need to be wearing while you’re outside wearing out the pavement. Are you weary of our enthusiasm yet?

Maybe you’re more of a ‘sit in bed or on the couch with some Netflix’ hibernator. That’s fine too. The June-July 2022 issue of Stuff has you covered too. Apple’s newest iPad Air, its best effort to date thanks to that M1 processor, is fully tested and ready to provide you with some entertainment overkill. That’s right, it’ll give the iPad Pro lineup a run for its money, while you’re doing absolutely no running while warm and snug under your blankets. Because we all know running a heater is far too expensive this year.

There’s always more to see in an issue of Stuff. We’ve got ways to improve your folding Samsung smartphone, upgrades for MacBook Pros, and how to protect your tech (on a security level). There’s also a batch of reviews to look forward to, the best tech that hasn’t made it here yet, and then the Top 10 lists so you know exactly where your kit lives on the pecking order. The new issue of Stuff is in stores, online, and … everywhere, really. Go and get it.
