Stuff South Africa

In the October 2016 issue of Stuff Magazine

October 2016It’s about freaking time — Stuff‘s October 2016 edition is on shelves everywhere that good magazines are sold (we wouldn’t have it any other way) and the highlight of our issue is Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7. Samsung’s amazing-but-beset-by-a-manufacturing-fault Galaxy Note 7. Yes, that one. South Africa’s launch is still on the horizon so we’re going to be getting the non-exploding phones — and you’re going to want one. Find out why in Stuff Magazine’s October issue.

Retro tech. We wouldn’t be here without it. In fact, some time in the future archaeologists are going to get some very weird ideas about our religious beliefs from all the (still-working) Nokia 3310 phones they’re going to be digging up. This month Stuff has 25 pieces of retro tech that changed the world that we’re living in right now. They deserve your affection — all of them. Go be affectionate.

Wondering what to wear doesn’t just stop at shoes and shirts these days. What’s on your wrist is just as important as your choice of fabric adornment. We’ve got all of the answers for you this month, whether you’re looking to slightly bump up your step count or run across the country in a matter of weeks. Okay, bipedal movement isn’t the only thing we’ve considered, we’ve got wristwear for swimmers, cyclers and triathletes — you overachievers, you. Spot the best in Stuff Magazine October 2016.

The console wars have begun. Again. Sony has announced their PlayStation 4 Pro, their 4K upgrade, but we haven’t had a chance to play with that one just yet. But the new Xbox One S…? We’ve had a chance to play with that, and some of the best games on it. And the best games incoming. And the best games from the previous generation, which are now totally playable on the Xbox One and the Xbox One S. Get all of our impressions in the current issue and watch out for the next salvo — the PlayStation 4 Pro — coming soon.

Leave us not forget that we’ve got a whole mess of discounts from WeChat and Incredible Connection in the October 2016 issue of Stuff. The highlight this month? That’s going to have to be the DJI Phantom 3, available as a fraction of the original cost (50% is a fraction, right?). You’re going to have to act fast on that one, as there are only 25 units available at that price – But there are another 6 heavily discounted items to soften the blow if you miss out.

Also on the cards? A drone supertest, Ford’s new Ranger, the Mini Clubman, MSI’s first Pascal-powered VR-ready notebook, and lots, lots more. Gets your October 2016 issue of Stuff Magazine now.
