Meet Samsung’s Galaxy S 5 Active, the rugged version of the South Korean tech company’s flagship smartphone. This is a device that we’ve all been expecting to be announced but it’s not really official as yet. That hasn’t stopped the folks at TK Tech News from getting their hands on one and posting video footage of the phone online.
This particular phone is destined for release in the States on AT&T’s network but odds are that we’re going to be seeing at least a variant of the S 5 Active on this side of the world. It seems like it will feature a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of system memory and will have (at least) an HD display in addition to a 16MP camera, heart-rate monitor and, of course, that rugged exterior.
If you’d like a little more detail of Samsung’s unannounced smartphone, instead of just a plain hands-on TK Tech News have also done a couple of benchmarks and explored the specifications on the phone itself. Now, we wait for Samsung to tell us what we already know, as well as when we can expect it.
