Google has released a tweaked version of Google+ for the iPhone, saying that they are “embracing the sensor-rich smartphone (with its touchable screen and high-density display), and transforming Google+ into something more intimate, and more expressive.”
New fonts, larger profile images and a revamped home screen form part of the changes to the mobile app. Several other visual alterations have been made for when the stream is loaded, resulting in a more organic experience. There are few differences besides the cosmetic but the iPhone Google+ app is also more responsive than before.
Android users will have to wait a few week until they get equal treatment but Google’s Vic Gundotra has said in a blog post that when that version does arrive it will come “with a few extra surprises.”
