Apple has announced that the two new iMac models from the company will become available from this Friday, 30 November. The 21.5″ model will go on sale via Apple’s online store, authorised resellers and official Apple Stores (overseas) while the 27″ version will become available through Apple’s online store only.
The 21.5″ model of the iMac will ship with a 2.7GHz or 2.9GHz quad-core Core i5 processor, with an option to swap it out for a Core i7.The 21.5 incher with the smaller processor will feature NVidia’s GT 640M GPU, the larger CPU-sporting computer will pack in a GT 650M.
The 27″ iMac also comes in two flavours, starting with the 2.9GHz quad-core Core i5 and a GTX 660M and ending with the 3.2GHz Core i5 with a GTX 675MX.
8GB of RAM (1600 MHz) and 1TB of storage are standard across all variants, including the 27″ model. The 27-inch iMac will start shipping in December this year.
