Apple is rumoured to be announcing the long-expected iPad Mini in two and a half weeks time, according to an Apple investor who cites “multiple sources” for his information.
Invitations to an Apple event will apparently be sent out to American media on 10 October, presaging the event which is supposedly going to be taking place on 17 October. A launch day for the device of 2 November was also provided by the sources.
If Apple does make the announcement in the time-frame that these sources have given the iPad Mini will be the least surprising surprise from the company to date.
There may be some truth to the rumoured launch dates though, considering that other reports are claiming that Apple’s smaller iPad is already in production in Brazil. The report comes via Japanese Apple blog Macotakara, citing anonymous sources.
