Samsung is almost ready to release the next watch in its Galaxy series. This time around, there are a few high-res 360-degree renders from notable leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) and 91Mobiles.
Go Pro or look after your Heart
It looks as if Samsung will once again launch two models in the series, a standard model, along with a more expensive model. Codenamed Project X (yes, really), the more expensive model will be more aptly named the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro upon launch. Similar to the Watch 4 Classic from last year, the Pro will be available with and wihtout LTE. You’ll also get the choice of two colours; Black or Titanium Grey. And yes, as you might’ve guessed, the Pro model will cost more than its pro-less brother. Maybe it’s that fancy strap.
The standard Watch 5 – codenamed Heart – will be the more ‘fitness orientated’ model of the two. The Heart will likely also ship in both LTE and Bluetooth models and will also launch with more a wider array of lively colours.

Both the Heart and Project X will run WearOS 3.5, skinned with ONE UI Watch 4.5. It’s still too early to tell whether the watches will receive any device-specific features to make them a little more desirable.
Speaking of too early, the expected reveal date for both models is expected for early August, during the Samsung Summer Unpacked event. Here, we should learn more about the pricing, features and release dates for the watches.
