As always Apple have done things stylishly late but there’s now a confirmed date for the iPhone 6s (or iPhone 7) reveal. As expected, Apple’s announcement will be taking place on 9 September. We’ve known the date for some time, it’s just become official.
This year Apple’s reveal event will be taking place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, a slightly larger venue that indicates that Apple might be showing off a little more than expected this year.
The tag-line for the event, found on the invitation image above, is “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” Which, frustratingly enough, doesn’t tell us a whole lot. But if you say that to Siri…
Apple’s expected to reveal the iPhone 6s and likely the 6s Plus, with a possible set of iPads (including the long-rumoured iPad Pro) also thought to be making an appearance. There’s going to be more besides and we’ll have all the details for you right here on the day. Stay tuned.
