You might have seen us rambling on all slack-jawed about the upcoming Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt which is set for release in 2015. What you might not know is that there’s a physical board game based in the same fantasy universe.
If you don’t know that, you certainly have no idea that there was a digital version of said board game on the way and you’re only now finding out that it’s just arrived for purchase online. Called The Witcher Adventure Game, the digital edition of the physical product looks to be splendidly animated, with a proper D&D-style adventure taking place based on the cards that you draw while you play as one of the four main characters from the series: Geralt of Rivia, Triss Merigold, Yarpin Zirgin or Dandelion.
If you’re keen on getting your hands on The Witcher Adventure Game‘s digital editon, you can snag it for PC from Good Old Games for the pre-order price of $8.99 (R100) until 4 December this year. Or from the Google Play store for R70. There’s also an iOS version but you’ll need an overseas account to access it. That’ll set you back $6.99 (R78). And if you have the slightest idea where the physical edition can be located, please let us know. Personal reasons, you understand.
