There is a Kickstarter that hopes to put a small draft machine into your home, so that you can have a permanent supply of beer on tap. Now that we have your full attention, meet SYNEK.[youtube url=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GoiWGQPbQ”]
SYNEK is supposed to be a beer dispenser, one that is easy to fill and which will allow users to hang onto a batch of beer for an extended period of time, that lives on a countertop.
SYNEK consists of bags, which are apparently easily filled, that are able to hold and keep quantities of beer. Each of these refillable bags are used, instead of a growler, to load the dispenser, which takes care of the pressure and temperature of the lovely, lovely beer.
At the moment the Kickstarter project seems to be aimed mostly at home and micro-brewers, who might be looking to either create and dispense their own liquid or use the SYNEK to promote their small breweries. If you’re brewing in your basement (or something similar), then a Kickstarter pledge of $300 or more will be enough to secure one of the early units.
SYNEK’s Kickstarter still has another three weeks to run and they’ve hit just over $160,000 of their $250,000 target.
