According to The Wall Street Journal, Amazon is planning on announcing its very own take on a smartphone later this year.
The report claims that Amazon has been demonstrating their smartphone to developers in Seattle and San Francisco the past couple of weeks. Those in attendance were apparently only allowed to visit the phone under very heavy security.
If that was the case then security wasn’t heavy enough, as rumours state that the phone will have four front-facing cameras, which will track your gaze, and offer a 3D viewing experience, sans glasses.
The phone, if it actually exists, should be announced in September this year with production slated to start in April 2015.
