Call of Duty has had access to the Predator for some time in the form of a missile that can be called in to annihilate ground targets (and yourself, if you’re not paying attention). Now, thanks to a trailer for some upcoming downloadable content (DLC) for Call of Duty: Ghosts, Activision has confirmed that a Predator of a different stripe will be making an appearance.
Just how the iconic invisible alien hunter will feature in Ghosts‘ Devastation DLC isn’t exactly known and the trailer isn’t giving anything away. The Predator would most likely turn up in Extinction, that would make the most sense. But an appearance in the multiplayer game mode would also be a very interesting move.
There are a few other new features to be seen in the video above. Players will get a look at four new multiplayer maps that Devastation will be bringing to the online sphere, there’s a bunch of new content for the Extinction game mode and the introduction of a new, multi-capable weapon called the Ripper (no, not the Unreal Tournament gun) that should become a firm favourite online when the expansion releases at the end of this week.
