South Africa has been at the back of the line as far as the Xbox One is concerned but a fresh crop of rumours concerning Microsoft’s new hardware might give us all some light at the end of the tunnel.
Reports from the NeoGAF forums have pegged the launch date for the Xbox One in South Africa, along with a range of other countries, as October this year. The NeoGAF leak has reportedly been verified by The Verge, though they have not made it clear whether the ‘other territories’ release dates form part of this confirmation.
What seems to have been confirmed is the existence of a white Xbox One console, which will become available overseas at the same time as the supposed SA Xbox One release. There is also talk of a major dashboard update coming for the Xbox One in March, a 1TB Xbox One appearing in November as well as a Titanfall themed console that may or may not see the light of day.
