HTC might be joining the likes of Sony, Samsung and very possibly Apple (if they announce something along these lines later today) in producing and making available a smartwatch, according to a report from Bloomberg.
The report, which cites anonymous sources for its information, claims that HTC will have a smartwatch available “…by the second half of 2014” but doesn’t go in to many specifics. This is reportedly because items like the pricing and functionality have yet to finalised.
What is apparently known is that HTC’s smartwatch will be able to take photographs and that it will use an Android operating system. However, when approached for comment, HTC declined to confirm whether the device was in development.
