The Leap Motion gesture controller that was due to launch this month may have been pushed back to a July release but that doesn’t meant that the company isn’t going to be advertising the device’s features.
Leap Motion have dropped a new video showcasing the motion peripheral being used in a Windows 8 environment, with a similar video based around Mac OSX on the way.
The footage below shows the Leap Motion being used to navigate most of the typical functions in Windows 8, looking for all the world like an invisible touchscreen is being utilised. It doesn’t look like you’d be able to do any CAD drawings with the motion controller but you’ll certainly be able to browse through them, Tony Stark-style.
