Samsung has made the Galaxy Tab 3 official, giving a global launch window for the new 7-inch tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will feature a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, which hasn’t been specified as yet, and will be available with either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. Those with hefty space requirements will be able to expand that amount by up to 64GB, presumably via microSD. The 7-inch WSVGA TFT display (1,024 x 600) will have a thinner bezel than that found on the Galaxy Tab 2.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will have a 3 megapixel rear and 1.3 megapixel front camera and will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The WiFi version of the Galaxy Tab 3 will be available globally in May, according to Samsung, and a 3G version will follow come June this year.
