Microsoft has announced the coming reveal of its next generation Xbox console, putting the date at 21 May this year. The event will take place at Microsoft’s Redmond campus at 10AM and Microsoft has confirmed that the unveiling will be live-streamed over Xbox.com.
There has been a lot of rumour and speculation regarding the capabilities and possible requirements of Microsoft’s newest console which has been amplified since Sony’s PlayStation 4 announcement earlier this year. The 21 May event will be the moment that prospective Nextbox owners find out whether they will require an internet connection in order to play their games.
Microsoft is expected to uncover their launch lineup for the next-generation console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June this year in Los Angeles.
