A mirrorless, interchangeable lens Android-based camera from Polaroid, the IM1836, seems to have had its reveal leaked via a Russian social media network.
According to the leak the camera, which bears a striking resemblance to the Nikon 1 J2 mirrorless camera, should be announced soon by Polaroid. The specs the shooter features include an 18.1 megapixel sensor, pop-up flash, 3.5″ touchscreen and built-in WiFi.
The camera will apparently be powered by Android 4 and will play host to HDMI and headphone outputs as well as microSD slots for expanded storage.
It is being speculated that the IM1836’s reveal, which may see the camera appearing under a different name, will be as CES early next year.
