MTN have left their announcement a little late, saying in a statement yesterday that Apple’s new iPhone 5 will be available from the mobile service provider from today, 14 December.
MTN will be offering the iPhone 5 as part of three different 24 month contracts, one for each storage option for the device. The 16GB iPhone 5 will be available for R529 per month, the 32GB for R579 per month and the 64GB for R629 per month.
All of the contracts are MTN’s Anytime 350 option, which gives subscribers R350 worth of airtime minutes, 250MB of data and 50 SMS messages each month. The contracts are only available at selected MTN Stores.
