Apple announced yesterday that the iPhone 5 handset would be arriving soon, first in South Korea on 7 December followed by more than 50 other countries a week or two later.
South Africa is among the countries listed for a 14 December release of Apple’s new smartphone, along with China, Malaysia, Russia and the Philippines among others.
A third rollout will take place on 21 December that includes several other African countries. At launch the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models will be available in either black and slate or white and silver.
