LG has announced two new products that will be powered by Microsoft’s impending Windows 8 operating system, an all-in-one PC and a hybrid laptop able to swap between tablet and keyboard-controlled roles.
The all-in-one V325 PC consists of a system built into a 23″ display. The display itself will have touch functionality and a Core i5 CPU and an Nvidia GeForce GT640M will provide the power behind the screen. It also has an included TV tuner, which is apparently able to function without booting the PC, but since the V325 is restricted to South Korea for the moment, as is the laptop/tablet hybrid, it probably isn’t going to function outside that country.
The hybrid device, the 11.6″ H160, is just 15.9mm thick including the keyboard. The display is controlled via an auto-slide button and the H160 will feature WiFi, an HDMI and USB port and a microSD slot. The battery for the device is expected to last about 10 hours.
