Samsung has confirmed via head of Samsung Mobile Communications JK Shin that tomorrow’s Germany event will indeed be revealing a mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Not many details were revealing by Shin, only that the smaller device was definitely scheduled for launch in Cologne. Just how ‘mini’ the new addition to the range is debatable though since it has only trimmed down to 4″ from 4.8″, making it the same height as Apple’s new iPhone 5.
Shin said “We’ll be launching a 4-inch Galaxy S III on the 11th in Germany. There’s a lot of demand for a 4-inch screen device in Europe. Some call it an entry-level device, but we call it ‘mini.'”
