According to a report from The Korea Times Samsung already has a time set aside for revealing their Galaxy S 4 handset next year.
The company will apparently be revealing the next in line in the Galaxy S range at next year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February next year. The report states that the device will be on shelves globally “in March at the latest.”
The report cites a Samsung official who asked not to be identified as saying “Samsung is ready to unveil the next Galaxy smartphone _ the Galaxy S4 _ at early next year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in the Spanish city of Barcelona.”
The screen size for the new handset will reportedly jump from the current 4.8″ display to a 5″ OLED screen. It will also feature quad-core Exynos processors and LTE. The revised handset is apparently being launched specifically to compete with Apple’s iPhone 5 in the US, hence the very early launch date.
Samsung has not officially confirmed these reports.
